Trump’s indictment and the Espionage Act

Former President Donald Trump makes his first appearance in a Miami federal courthouse today. He is accused of taking from the White House in 2021 hundreds of documents, many of them highly classified, and some related to the military and nuclear capabilities of the United States and foreign countries. Tom Blanton, director of the independent nongovernmental National Security Archive, talks with The World’s host Marco Werman about the charges, and how they relate to the Espionage Act.
