Maria Lorena Martinez is the Archive’s database manager (since 2002), providing essential programming and IT support for the Archive’s document imaging, request tracking, and indexing databases. Maria programs and manages the automated process of outgoing and incoming Freedom of Information request correspondence, produces specialized databases for the Archive’s staff and partners, and oversees the scanning and digitization operations of the Archive. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she received her undergraduate degree in Information Systems from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and earned her MBA at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
