scattered throughout the target area There was also a simulated airfield 1n the t rget area vlth two unlnentlfied aircraft Dummies wearing the conventional field uniform with all items of personal formation The Soviet officer narrating stated that the two-en ined plane which supposedly dropped the bomb 'as nying at approximat ely 12 000 meters and that the alleged bomb to be dropped was a medlum -s1zed bomb The Sov1et narrator told the group that this was to be a surface burst and that there were three other-type burstsl subaurrace alr and Wlderwater which he din not deBer t he ftD ther When the alleged bomb exploded there wao a br11liant nuh of lIght olloved by a large column or smoke rising in the a1r forming a mushroom cloud Tbe narrator stated that th1s particular explosion caused complete destruction within a radius of approxi ately three to four km The film then shoven aerial scenes of the various tiree and damage done to the sImulated c1ty airfield vehicles and equipment 1n the target area It continued to show various degrees of destruction radiating outward trom grounn zero back to the troop emplacement However Source could not estimate distances in
